march nails: slice of green

i'm not a huge fan of putting green on my nails, but because it's March i thought i'd better try. this is what i decided this week:

please excuse my big 'ole hangnail up there. it's kinda hanging out like a big zit and i hate it. 

colors:

"pure azure" (salon perfect)

this was actually my first time using the any of the "tip" plates. which is crazy because i've had them for so long, you'd think by now i'd have tried them all out. nope. usually i cover my whole nail in a pattern, but i do like this look and might have to start incorporating more of these kind into my manicure..
