As with most laid back weekends,
I get an undeniable desire to get crafting.
So that's exactly what I did.
When my family came over on Wednesday before heading down to conference,
the girls went out to the bead lady,
and these are some of the beads I picked out.
Something else that was super-duper fun was making felt pillows with Holl and Case.
Now,
when Holl originally brought this idea to my attention my first initial thought was:
Uh, felt??
I don't think it's that cute.
Luckily,
Holl was very persuasive and finally convinced Case {who came into town this week} to do these pillows with her,
and when they showed them to me I became excited!
They are so fun, easy, and adorable!
Yea,
I think they're freaking adorable.
Mine are those top three,
and Holl's is this amazingly cute pink and black one.

I know this is picture overload,
but just hang in there.
So many fun things happened this weekend and I want to show and tell about them all!
The next item of business is probably my favorite of all.
Because I received a little package in the mail on Friday.......
{Da-da-da-DUN!}
It was my SILHOUETTE MACHINE!
Here is my first project.
I made some labels for my desk.
Then,
while listening to conference,
I was exploring and testing my new software and discovered that it will actually TRACE the outline of whatever picture you want.

For example:
I googled a random owl picture and saved it to "my pictures",
opened it in the design studio,
clicked "trace",
and dragged the mouse to make a box over the area I wanted copied {or to be cut},
pressed "send to silhouette".
And I got myself a cutie little hootie owl friend.

I cannot wait to play around more with this,
and more projects are in the making!
